At DigiFist, we build scalable SaaS products for e-commerce. One of our key initiatives is a marketing & WhatsApp marketing platform with multiple modules, tightly integrated with Shopify, and delivered through a distributed app store model. We’re looking for a strong Senior Developer who can take ownership and help us build a robust, scalable product foundation.

What you’ll do

As a Senior Laravel Developer, you’ll work on the core backend of our SaaS applications and help design a platform built for scale.

• Build and maintain production-grade Laravel backends (API-first)
• Design and implement complex integrations (Shopify, external services, webhooks, queues, event-driven flows)
• Contribute to architecture decisions (scalability, security, performance, maintainability)
• Develop modular systems across multiple product modules
• Collaborate with frontend teams using React to deliver clean end-to-end user flows
• Write clean code, perform code reviews, and uphold engineering standards (tests, CI/CD, best practices)

Who we’re looking for (must-haves)

You’re truly senior: you don’t just “code”—you design, think ahead, and deliver reliably.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel/PHP in production
• Proven track record across multiple Laravel projects, with clear ownership and impact
• Strong experience with complex system integrations (APIs, OAuth, webhooks, third-party services)
• Solid knowledge of queues/jobs, caching, and performance optimization
• Strong understanding of database design (migrations, indexing, scalable data structures)
• Great communication, ownership mindset, and ability to work independently

Nice-to-haves (big plus)

• Comfortable with React (able to collaborate closely; optionally pick up frontend tasks when needed)
• Experience building Shopify apps (GraphQL/REST, App Bridge, webhooks, billing is a plus)
• Experience with messaging/automation ecosystems (WhatsApp providers, marketing automation concepts)
• DevOps mindset: Docker, CI/CD, monitoring, logging
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS, modular monoliths, or microservices

Tech stack (indicative)

• Laravel / PHP, MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Background jobs / queues (e.g., Redis), events & webhooks
• React frontend and API integrations
• Shopify integration + distributed app store structure
